The decision has been made as our company continues to grow, to show our support for Jack and Team England at this year’s Commonwealth Youth Games.”
The Commonwealth Youth Games began in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2000 with the goal of being held every four years for athletes between the ages of 14 and 18. That beginning saw fourteen countries send 733 athletes and team officials to compete. The games have grown significantly as the years have progressed. The second event in Australia had twenty-two countries represented while the third, held in India, saw seventy-one countries send athletes.
This year’s games will take place in The Bahamas in July and promise to be the largest international sporting event ever held in the country as well as the largest-ever edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games. Approximately 1300 athletes will participate in the sporting competition.
Ms. Kostadinova added, “Our team believe wholeheartedly that personal development is key to the continued success of our company. We agree with the goals set out by the Federation where off-the-field experience focuses on friendship, integrity and inter-cultural exchange, and we are pleased to announce our support.”
The next Commonwealth Youth Games will be held in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 2021.
