The shortlist for the UK manufacturing industry’s most coveted awards has been revealed and LineView Solutions are up for the Innovation & Design award!
The Manufacturer MX Awards are organised by The Manufacturer and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). The yearly programme is universally acknowledged as the gold standard for bench-marking performance across a range of manufacturing categories, among companies large and small. They involve a detailed investigation of each entrant’s citation by groups of judges, who visit each factory in turn to inspect processes, and interview management and staff.

The Innovation & Design award will recognise a company innovation within the business that has been developed and applied to create significant growth, improved commercial performance, increased market share and operational effectiveness. The award does not focus on one single innovation, but looks at how culture of innovation has been created, generating new or improved products, services and processes that successfully meet the changing needs of the customer and business.

The shortlist for the Innovation & Design category includes:

  • A-SAFE
  • CNC Robotics Limited
  • LineView Solutions Ltd.
  • McLaren Automotive
  • Tharsus
  • TrakRap
Shortlisted companies now face the rigorous second round judging process. At LineView Solutions, we are looking forward to hosting the judging panel in our new state-of-the-art offices in September.

Ian Rowledge, Director, LineView Solutions, said the following about our nomination: "We are very happy to be shortlisted for this prestigious award amongst some strong mature businesses."

The winners will be announced at a black tie dinner on 15 November at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool. Last year proved to be very popular and tickets sold out, so those who want to join the party must book early to be part of the biggest award show in the UK manufacturing sector.
